Preparatory courses

The AGH UST Faculty of Applied Mathematics organizes, on a paid basis, induction courses preparing students to take up studies at the AGH UST in the field of mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Each preparatory course consists of 30 academic hours of instruction. The problems to be discussed include, among others, those included in the secondary school educational pogrammes that are taught at the extended level and the knowledge of which is necessary to be able to participate in lectures and classes at the AGH UST.

The courses will be held on the following dates:

·         6 September – 10 September 2021 (6 hours a day)

·         6 September – 17 September 2021 (3 hours a day)

·         13 September – 17 September 2021 (6 hours a day)

·         13 September – 24 September 2021 (3 hours a day)

·         20 September – 24 September 2021 (6 hours a day)

The learning/teaching activities will be held in groups including:

·         4-7 participants

·         10-15 participants

·         18-24 participants

The learning/teaching activities will be held in the traditional (face-to-face) mode or in the remote (online) mode, depending on the current epidemiological situation (Covid-19).

The amount of the course fee depends on the size of the group and for mathematics courses it is:

·         in groups of 4-7 participants:  PLN 900

·         in groups of 10-15 participants: PLN 700

·         in groups of 18-24 participants: PLN 600

for courses in other subjects:

·         in groups of 4-7 participants:  PLN 800

·         in groups of 10-15 participants: PLN 600

·         in groups of 18-24 participants: PLN 500

During the course, the participants can make use of the AGH UST accommodation facilities and canteens on a paid basis.
